Quick and easy question... I need to replace the big end and main bearings, minispares are £21-28 at set... is this the going rate or are there cheaper suppliers?

Also is there a preferred manufacturers etc? or are they all pretty similar?

I've always built with glacier vandervell (I think that is the spelling) mains and big ends.

Genuine ones comes in packets with holograms etc all over them.

I think they were the oem to british leyland when the cars were first made.

(correct me if i'm wrong)

All our AE numbers are now ACL bearings :)
