Metro Turbo engine value?

Sorry guys this is one of those irritating "whats it worth?" threads.

The last mini related item i have in my garage needs to go. Its been sat gathering dust far too long. Thing is i dont know what to put it up for, i often check ebay to see how engines are doing and some go for silly silly money and others dont.
I'm not trying to make a fortune out of it, i just want it gone at a fair price to both me and the potential buyer.

Its like this ......

Complete Metro turbo engine (purchased from jimster from this very forum :))
- It will need rebuild as its been sat for a while, still turns by hand so hasnt seized, its just a job worth doing :)
- I believe i have ALL ancillaries, they are not attached but are in a box in the garage and will go with the engine.
- I had the chambers in the head worked by hogster (from this very forum as well) so i could lower the CR and increase boost, can not remember exactly how big they are now (maybe 36cc) but the head is off the engine so the buyer could have a look.
- The turbo has no play in the shaft and looks very very good indeed.
- It comes complete with carb, exhaust manifold etc etc

how much is a fair price for this lot do you reckon?

sorry i know these threads are annoying but i dont want to get the price wrong, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would deffo ebay it. You will get good money there.

Prob fetch £400+ if it is complete.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

i wasnt sure, as there are a load on ebay at that price that have no bids. I dont want it sat around for ages so would probably put it up for less than that?
Its probably one of those items where sometimes no-one is looking at the time and you get bugger all, but other times you get lucky and 5 or 6 people are all looking at the same time and get into a bidding war for it

put it up at a 99p start with a reserve that you are comfortable with. Any more than that is your bonus. That way people will only pay what they are happy to pay.

Give it a clean and a fresh coat of red paint - that'll give it an extra 20bhp when it's back together

Don't forger to take into account your ebay fees.
