Well I've finally got the shell patched up, got it through a test and put some rent in the window. So the blue clubby is officially on the road. *smiley*

Well it was for about 1/4 mile. Fooking dizzy shat it's pants and stopped advancing properly. Fine going down hill, but nothing going up hill. And I live at the top of a big hill!

What fun changing the ignition module, coil etc etc at the side of the road is, only to have to get my other car and two the fooker home.... *oh well*

So our Saturday morning of rally prep may well be spent finding a dizzy that works and fitting some points....

feel for you mate, had my daily drive on the road for all of 20 miles before issues

Yep. I'm just going to chuck another dizzy on it tommorrow, see how it goes.

It was spluttering a bit when I took it of the road. I thought I'd poped the ellectric ignition module. Obviously not...
