why not have a go, you might as well try, if they can fit 2.0l vauxhall engines in a mini hen i'm sure a maestro one could be made to fit.

yes but i think there are a heavy old lump.

Have a look on RichSpecs website (i think). A fella called Kev used to race a monty turbo engined mini. I recall it pulled in regular low 14's on the strip, and was pretty stock.... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

A lad in my Mini club had one in his clubman grass tracking car. Had a removeable front if i remember rightly ....

kev`s moved over to a 820 rover mota now .but the monty turbo fitted in ok under a clubman front end Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

One thing you do want to do - change the cam buckets for the ones from the Perkins engine that the O-Series was based on...
