How long will celly paint last assuming its kept in a fairly airtight container? |

Received knowledge is, not very long, especially if not kept from extremes of temperature.However, I have used paint over 20 years after it was first mixed, without problems and it was just kept in an unheated workshop. Dont ever put any thinned paint back in the container,which should be airtight, not just "fairly airtight". |

Its been kept at a fair constant 10-12degrees, but its nearly a year old now |

i have used celly paint unopend was more than 25 years old and it was just fine.
