eBay Advice?

Hi Guys

Just looking for a bit of eBay advice as my Father has had a problem wiht somone on eBay, he won a cheap washing machine, exhanged phone numbers with the seller and we arrived to pick up the washing machine at the agreed time.

They in the middle of no where and try as we might couldnt find their house, naturally our first port of call was to phone the person. They must have had 30 missed calls over an hour while we were driving and evem walking door to door in the dark trying to find their house!

Anyway, no answer from them, couldnt find their house eventually went fuck it and we drove home.

Now they are going through the non paying bidder process against my Father, he is trying to argue his point but doesnt seem to be having much luck.

I believe sellers cant give negative feedback to buyers anymore so what can they do? My Dad is worried his account is going to be suspended or banned?

Does anyone have any experiance of this process and can give a few words of advice or what we are to expect? My Dad has over 200 + feedback and has never had trouble before.

Buyers can still leave bad feedback. it's the sellers that no longer can.

Basically all that will happen is that he might get a non paying buyer strike.

He wont get banned.

3 strikes and your out, but he cant get any bad feedback from this tosspot!
