A company need my bank details to pay me????

as above a company i've started to work for now needs to pay me straight into the bank.

I've not done much for them before so i'm a little worried about giving over my details for this, or am i worryiong about nothing? and what details do they need?

Its a fairly normal thing for them to pay you using BACS, as long as they are a reputable organisation I wouldn't worry about it.

I have had to give my details to more and more companies recently so they can do BACS payments now - not had any issues

acc name, bank, sort code + acc number

Normally account number & sort code.

thanks fellas, that's cleared it up, i wasn't sure if they needed the long number on the cards lol, prob not a good idea to give them that !

When you think about it you give your bank details out every time you write a cheque... Its written on every single one, name address account number the lot....

I would not worry about it as long as they have a reason to be asking.

no sweat there mat like the gents say BACS transfer takes 24 to 48 hours

but for the future, you may like to know.
a CHAPS transfer takes one hour but it costs between £20 and £30 depending on the bank etc........ ii shoud know my ex cleared me out totally.

if your worried could you have 2 accounts have the money paid into one then tranfer it to you main account.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
