The shape in the pic is the later head matey, its the early ones that have the flat machined area near the thermostat housing.

According to Vizard the later ones with the cast in area have slightly better water cooling passages. In practise I don't think you'd tell the difference.

Why do I have the feeling that Phil's done something trick with either the guides, ports or chambers.

The ports are very good indeed and the chambers could be different to most turbo applications???..

love the nuts on the rocker adjusters.. nice head.. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

DTI gauge for tappet adjustment! Didnt think of that one. |

The DTI is check valve lift. well worth checking to get every bit of lift.
