i'm in the process of changing over the turbo and while i'm waiting for bits to arrive i've taken the head off, it all looks ok to me except for a bit of carbon build up on the pistons and a bit on the valves-is it ok to clean this off with a wire wheel?

also is there anything that can be done to the head to get more from it or would it be better to get a new one from morspeed, avonbar or vmax to name a few?

I would simply use some petrol, and a stiff brusg, I would not use a wire brush as small bits of the wire will break off and go down the piston bores

just floated back down from the top of the garage!

they have come up a treat, look like new!

suppose i'll have to do an oil change now its got petrol in it, -was going to do one anyway-

i used a wire wheel on the head though, it came up well.

just gotta put it all back together now!
