7.9" discs and metro 4 pots

I have minisport 4pots vented kit on my estate with 7.9" discs.

I want to swap out to a set of standard metro 4pots will I be OK to still use the 7.9" discs or will I need to change them for the normal 8.4 vented discs?

I don't think I will get away with it, but I thought I would ask here before spending the ££

I'm using 13" wheels (I used to run 10's, thus the smaller brake set-up)

i think you will have to stay with the 8.4, but surley this will be better are you will have more surface area on the disc hence better braking

What condition are the 7.9" discs in?

I've go a brand new pair of 8.4" vented discs on the shelf that I may be willing to swap for the 7.9s
