Im just reassembling my pre verto clutch assembly at the moment.

I bought a minispares ultralight flywheel.

Ive just torqued it up and the clutch plate isnt moving at all seems to be like the flywheel is clamping to the primary gear and not the the actual taper.

Need Help!!!

Got a trackday coming up! *happy*

Thank You.

Mike

leeds/wakefield.

the clutch plate wont move as its clamped between flywheel and backplate,
go and undo the three bolts that hold the backplate on, slack them right off untill it releases the pressure on the drive plate, ,now try spinning the plate,if it still dosn't , then you may have pinched up on the C clip, nut uncommen in this day with china making all manor of fooking shite .

I wouldnt have been so hasty filling down your C clip. Chances are its the bit that is fine. I would have looked into the clutch plate side of things a bit further. I cant help but think you have cured the syptom not the problem.
