OK, this is my new tank from Sir Lord Carlos of Austin.

The breather is not yet attached..

QUIZ TIME.. a chunky KITKAT is in the post to the first person who explains what is going on with the plumbling. Sir Austin you can't play.

Note, it is not quite finished due to having to buy some more hose but is all working..

second that guess. the facet pump is feeding the swirl pot from the main tank and then the proper high pressure pump is feeding out from the swirl.

then the rest of the pluming is respective to that set-up etc.

Back to Fucking Tool status

Swindon

fuel sucked out into a swerl pot which is hidden which then leads to a fuel filter then fuel pump and the floppy dong is for fun and the top on the return line

basically what james said just bettereaaaa

the facet pump pumps fuel around something in the tank to cool the fuel you are pumping to carb.

Looks like your fuel return goes to the swirlpot too. Although I'd have thougt it better to go into the tank direct.

nah if it was like that the facet pump would have to out pump the high pressure one or the pot would empty.

ok then:

Tank > Facet > Swirlpot > Filter > HP pump > Reg > Return line into the top of the swirt pot.

Then you have the breater at the neck to vent pressure/fumes. (and pure HC's baby!)

only thing thats getting me is the connection to the right of the tank. unless thats the breather for the swirl but that seems like it would be a damn large swirl pot...no?

James H, That will do.. you win, pm your address for said confectionary prize..

The pipe from near the filler is just a spill overflow.

Return returns to the internal swirl pot so it has to be totally dry before it runs out of fuel, the idea is that I have to run no more fuel that nesesseseessesary.

Yes, Bloody Miglia, we shared a grid with them once... Was expensive fun!

The clip around the fuel filter was from an old honda civic.
