hi all.ive just run in my first turbo engine but im having a bit of troble with me gaskets.the gasket between the gesrbox and block has poped out and split, also the timming one has as well when i gave it a bit of a blast on saturday.i was told that it could be the breathers ,so i checked them and they were a snotty yellowy watery mess inside.ive got 2 little k.n filters on them just breathing to air one on timming cover and one on the fly wheel housing .do you guys think that it could be they problem and is it caused by to much cold air coming from my evo bonnet.*oh well*

Sounds like you have excessive pressure in the crankcase. I would start by ensuring the breathers are completely clear as they certainly wont be helping. Would also be worth doing a compression test to ensure the rings have bedded in properly and that your not just experiencing excessive blow by from one or more of the cylinders.

Having two K&N breathers filters is perfectly acceptable as long as they are perfectly clear. may be worth taking the breathers off the engine and make sure the seperators are clear, wash them out with some petrol you will probably be amazed at how much crap comes out of them.

good stuff what do u think caused it to milk up, also have a lot in the rocker cover .is is likely to be my bonnet as it has 2 big holes in the top.

water in the oil causes this.

this can just be condesation from lots of short journeys or more likely the head gasket.

I would put it down to short runsand condensation. get a milky film on the inside of my rocker cover at times but a nice run would soon clear it up.
