After looking at changing from the Eaton M45 I was going to use I'm now 90% sure I will go turbo.

So my question is I have been offed a new hybrid turbo that should be close to what im after I think.8-)

SEPCS from what I have been told so far.

S14 dual roller ball bearing core (part no.446179-12)
R32 GTR EX housing HPC coated
Comp cover AR.42
FR wheel 46.48mm
EX wheel 41.7mm
T25 EX flang
What do you think? It will be going on my 998 build thread motor.

With the cover allready machined out to fit the core. Is there anythink more i need to ask for or is that all the numbers? I'm not up to speed on turbo yet*happy**happy*

Thanks Nathan.

I feel like I'm answering all your questions! No worries I am one od a few on this site with a small bore turbo.

What cc engine was the hybrid developed for, producing what BHP?

A compressor map would be useful and a turbine AR.

For a T series turbo, a turbine AR of around .35 is good, but much bigger shouldn't be a problem. On a GT series you can go a lot bigger in my experience.

just from the fact that it says the exhaust housing in from an r32 gtr (nissan skyline) im going to stab at saying its going to be large!

Turbine AR. will be the key but i just have a feeling its going to be too big im afraid :(

Thank you Wil_h for all your help I’m very thankful for it!!

From what I can understand the core is from the GT25R Family with the Ball bearing turbocharger, Oil and Water-cooled bearing system. Same deal from what I can tell, the Skyline GTR rear housing has a of A/R.48. I can find out better tomorrow Australian time.

It was part of a twin turbo set up for a R32 GTR Nissan skyline, so I’m looking at one of the identical pear. Just adding to the GTR skylines came out with twin turbos with a 2.6L motor. So effectively 1.3L per turbo?

With it being ball bearing this should help it sool a lot sooner, 500RPM or so? Not sure of the BHP spec but would think 200ish most problely.

And yes I do have dyslexia and trying my best.
Thanks again in advance Nathan.
