Hi, are the metro turbo 4 pots prone to leaking??

not even used mine yet.. just been sat on the car (probably for well over a year now) and when bleeding the feckers they have started to leak from the bottom pistons.

Also does anyone know if i need 2 or 4 of these for the front set, and would it be wise to replace all or just the leaking ones?

luckily i jst happen to have one of those kits sitting here *wink*

that kit will do one whole caliper, it contains 4 seals, 4 dust seals and 4 dust seal retainers.

i dont think the calipers are particuarly prone to leaks, check the pistons for marks/ rust pitting though.

Never had to refurbish a set. I just dig around in the garage till I find a set and throw them on, most have been lying around in there for over a decade.

The only thing is The were all capped off filld with fluid.
