I find myself with a small problem. Having purchased the above item well over a year ago, and having fitted it to an engine that I had sat as a spare, I have no idea what the timing for this cam is.

Having done a quick search there is no info on here with regard to these cams.

The only mention I have found was that it was thought to be a copy of the Kent 500 cam. Now I know this is a stretch but I have set the timing to 110 degrees which is the same as the K500 and seems to be the standard timing for after market cams.

Good assumption or living dangerously?

you have timed the inlet at 110deg BTDC,

just check that the exhaust is timed at 110 deg ATDC,

if it isn't se how far the exhaust is out half the diference and retime the cam acordingly *wink*

Sorry, but maybe im just being a little thick or my engines are mirical engines but dont you mean the inlet valve is timmed to reach full lift 110 degrees ATDC on the induction stroke? And the Exhaust valve reaches full lift 110 degrees ABDC on the exhaust stroke?

Well, it is about 35-40 degrees away from where it should be !!!!!
