Hello all
Been out today as it was nice and decided to give the old girl a few beans, well as the title says I blew the end off the r5 cooler that I had on, I don't think the lack of traction over the island helped as reves rose some what
I got talking to a couple of cossy boys down the road witch they have a spare witch will fit at the front for £30 just wandering if this is a bargin or not
Cheers all

The R5 one is not that great, the cossie one will be much better. We held our ends on with a big ziptie, but the thing still slowly destroyed itself.

If your sticking with the R5 unit, join two of the longest jubilee clips you can together & strap them around the cooler, this is what I did to stop the end tanks blowing off. Also if you haven't already, remove the thermostat system in the top tank, this will improve flow.

As Ben says, our end caps stayed on, but the core was made of such thin metal that it started blowing appart at the ends.

What Cosworth is this from? I had an Escort one which was huge. Never fitted it as it wouldn't fit with my steel front, inner wings etc.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Silicon hose.com, priced my bay up with sameco then fainted, managed to do all mine for a fraction of the cost, good quality too.
With the IC is it cossy or rs500?
