I have a rattling noise when then clutch pedal is NOT depressed which goes away when it is depresed.

rattling will be drops rattle (normal) gears are probably stiff syncros 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

yes the gearset is new and replaced the double roller and another bearing. I also lost a detent ball so replaced with a different ball bearing the same size.

So you deffo going in the tangerine machine then mike? Have you tried that boost gauge yet? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Mayo just make sure the clutch throw-out stop is set right. Sounds like the clutch is not releasing fully. "So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"

I had my drops set at .006" end float and was told that was far too much so now its 0.0025. Any idea what your idler gear end float is? Is this ratttle new or present since build? Own the day

Car does not crunch into reverse and gears feel alot better now but it still crunches into 2nd, it only does it on down changes though. Does this sound like baulk rings?
