Yes, but why exhaust ???

You can get aluminium pre made bends specifically for inlet/intercooler piping and their sizes are (by design) compatible with the silcon hoses/joiners whereas the exhaust tubing is slightly different.

I'll try and dig out the links for both.

EDIT 1 - you'll find the aluminium bends in here

EDIT 2 - and one of the places I found for stainless in here
http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=240787

can't find the link for the other two stainless exhaust places .....

Hello again
Had a look at said site but will cost a fortune to buy all the bends I need 8 nnineties so I was thinking if I use exhaust tube I can weld 90% of it and just use a few straights just to join then together so if and one can help
Could slit pipe and make my own but will take forever LOL
Thanks

there's a place in walsall, just outside the town centre called Ashley Exhausts which might be worth a shot dude 01922 720767 is the number i think. they're at the top of spring hill rd, just before the island with the sutton rd and birmingham rd if you want to look them up, pretty sure thats where i got the bends and stuff i needed when i made my turbo elbow.

Hi
Still seems a bit pricey as I need 8 bends and they are £20 each
Still no joy on normal 50mm exhaust bends someone must sell um

If you're prepared to use mild steel (exhaust) bends, any decent independant will either have them or be able to get them for you. I stress "independant", not quick-fit or any other similar joke of a large franchised outlet.

If you want stainless (but still exhaust tubing) you are more likely to need a specialist (like the one I linked above) and it is a lot more expensive than mild steel.

One reason is that mild steel is usually externally formed (a very cheap process) but leaves a significant reduction in the bore around the bend. Stainless is usually mandrel formed which is more complicated but maintains the bore all the way around. Add a more complicated process to a more expensive material..... the price goes up.

Final point to bear in mind, not only is the aluminium usually mandrel formed (so no reduction is size) but they also have raised lips at their ends which, providing you fit the clamp correctly behind the lip, means the silicon bit cannot blow off. The mild or stainless exhaust tubing will not have this and is mostly in imperial OD sizes whereas the silicon joiners are usually in metric ID sizes so it can be hard to get a good secure fit. Not too much of an issue with the smaller diameter tubes/hoses for an A Series but a real problem with bigger hoses and higher pressures.

Don't take this the wrong way but, it's a case of you get what you pay for *frown*

Thanks for the advice I might start off with mild steal and when it is made up it will be easier for some one to copy in stainless
But thanks for the advice

Do what I do go down to your local engineering firms and see which one bends pipe and ask if you can look through there skip If you still have no joy I may be able to do just that and see what comes up.
