hi, we got this mini last year and decided to turbo it.

heres some pics of the work so far. . .

THIS MINI WAS SCRAPPED!!!! :(

Well it's a good start.... :)

When you go to change that big aluminium bracket at the radiator end, be very careful.... all the Metro gearboxes I've "converted" used bolts through the adaptor plate whereas the Mini uses studs/nuts (and one special countersunk headed bolt).

The Metro alloy bit is thicker than the Mini one so if you try to use Metro bolts instead of Mini studs, they bottom out.

Or, as the retard that owned my previous gearbox demonstrated, you can just carry on tightening and crack the gearbox casing in that area......
