i am planning on turboing my spare metro 1275 engine i was wondering are there any better cylinder heads i can just bolt on like the montego or maestro?

also this is for my 998 n/a thought i might get some help on this forum when it has been driven for about 10 mins and the engine is hot. smoke comes into my mini from behind my dashboard. what could that be its not electrical my first thought was oil was leaking onto the exhaust from the dif and its a very small leak what else could it be.

also to remove valve springs do i need a valve compressor? and can that be used to put them back in

The Montego & Maestro are the same spec as the MG Metro, 35.6m inlet 29.4mm exhaust 21.4cc chambers.
To remove the valve srings you need a valve spring compressor & to re-install them.

If you are getting oil on the manifold it is normally from the top of the engine not the bottom, gravity works like that. Check the rocker cover gasket is not leaking at the back.
