I know lightweight and reasonably priced don't generally go hand in hand but my seats really do weigh too much, so was just wondering what seats were out there that are lightweight for about £400-500 for a pair.

7.5kg EACH? So that puts the new seats at around 3kg? Well mabie 5.5 6ish kg then as long as I save at least 10kg's then mabie I can justify it.

i can recommend the cobra imola pro's, very similar to mattys corbeau sprints, although the corbeau's seem to hold you in tighter on the thighs, oi oi!!, the cobras are 5kg each (so the stricker on the side tells me anyway) but are quite expensive at 275 quid per seat from merlin motorsport, or for the homosexual in you, demon tweeks. Thanks, I think what I'm gonna do is spend the money on stuff that will loose much more weight for the moment, lighten the roll cage with t45 tube, alloy brake drums, plastic windows, cutting metal out etc.
