I'm liking the belt tensioner/idler pulley setup on the Kad.... Would anybody have a clue what car they would be off?

Cheers

i don't recognise that tensioner, unless its like my kads own design with an excentric middle, not ford,
but i think its Dan websters old engine,

I've been searching the net.. Might look like a Cosworth YB tensioner.

Will have to check with my mate as he has a Cossie... Not many of those around this part of the world.

Maybe of the standard 16v Ford Sierra engine aswell? I've seen them like that on a few websites. Can't figure out what idler pulley that is either.. Wondering if the tooth profile on it would match the honda gears.

I thought the early KAD ones were Pinto
later ones [ eccentric ] were Vauxhall

I recon that the seals in those plates are Ford *happy*

I use the Ford Fiesta 1.25 zetec cam seals, 52mm OD 38mm ID and they fit nicely between the cam/ jackshaft triangular plate bolts *happy*

Interesting information, ever since I got a set of honda cam pulleys, I've been thinking of doing my own scrap heap challenge style K-head conversion. I'll probably realise soon I don't have the skill or tools to do it though!

not an dler , but the one you show will work as a tensioner as it has an excentric mount, as is fitted to DON on an early head,
completely different belt arrangment to the ones sprocket has posted.

I think the tensioner might be of the YB Cossie and the Idler pulley is of the early c20xe.
