Not that clear but mine comes of the saab mounting into a silicon pipe into a 90 then into the inner wing.
that then gets the feed from behind the grill.

Mines on a 90deg silicone bend.

The only problem with it is space. The flexi hose makes it easy to fit between the bulkhead and rad/block etc.

EDIT: beaten to it..

my air filter sits in a composite box shaped to fit around the near side head lamp unit, and takes air in from the lower near side corner of the grill where the ram hose fitting for the air vent use to be.

Im going to try and mount the wipermotor on the inside of the bulk head and have the airfilter where the wipermotor was before.

Not sure how much air flow it will get, will probably try the bracebar aswell at some point.

Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

Mine's mounted in the inner wing by the passenger "air vent" with a duct let into the wing.

I'd rather not have to butcher the wing but I did at least try to maintain the body profile by "recessing" a duct rather than "adding" a scoop.

Still needs the filter shielding from the front wheel. Could still work withou t a duct/scoop if you can shield the filter from wheel spray and supply a cold air feed from elsewhere rather than a duct?

I used to have a set-up similar to ministef1, though with a clubby front so dunno how it'll work with a round nose, but the air duct had space to exit in between the radiator and grille, with the air filter mounted directly behind the grille (no pics unfortunately).

try this, go to ebay, go to the search bar for shop name, type in auto performance, it should be the top one on the list, and check out the cold air ducting, if your running a t3 youll need 57mm internal d, i ordered this stuff and one of there airfilters fitted it yesturday and i was well impressed with the quality, it comes with all the reducers you need, its cheap and very high quality, i fitted my filter under the alternator it clears the standard grill by about 2mm, and has possbly the best position for airflow, also, the ducting will bend, strench and shrink and the actual pipe never gets restricted. maybe give this a look, it worked for me.
