Guys

Which oil shall i put in my new engine for the run-in period? I know non-synthetic but what grade oil? Someone recommended just to fill it with shitty Asda stuff for the first 100 miles or so?

Also, what initial carb settings should I aim for when first starting the engine? What sort of rough guess should I have the mixture screw at, same with idle speed, (might put idle speed all the way up so when I first fire it up I can wear the cams in).

Millers do a running in oil. It is meant to be pricey but good. I normaly buy a cheapo 10-40 for the first 100miles. Dont know if its best or not but been doing it for over 14years without any probs so far.

What the fuck just happened?

What I was going to say, is that there aren't 8 cams, there are 8 lobes. I know it's semanthics, but this is the way all the rest of us talk.
