I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

no,its just the pot joint on the output spline, ,they all do it,

just checking as I dont have pot joints I removed the carrier for the cross joints and the movement is in the shaft sticking out from the diff I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

The shafts that stick out of the diff run through a small bush (one side in the diff cage, the other side in the crownwheel itself). That is where your play will be with the pot joint or cross carrier removed, nothing to do with the diff pin.
