hows it going guys ... just wanting to no if anyone else uses a t25 turbo instead of the t3 ? i have a t25turbo from a nissan sivea ...if so how well does it go than a t3 .eg. like less lag

well thats a wide open question you have asked. there are many posts about what size turbo and from these you will find that T2, T25, T3 just referes to the general size/exhaust flange.

i really dont know as much on this as a lot of people but i've used the T3, then a T2 and a hybrid T2/T25. my opinion is this

T3 = slow to spool (lots of lag) leading to progressive increase in boost, sort of nothing, nothing, make a cup of tea, little bit of boost, bit more, bit more and were away ( smooth delivery) then change gear and the big turbo keeps spining and no loss of boost into the next gear

T2 = fast spool. sort of nothing nothing then loads of wheel spin, change gear and the turbo can almost stop before building up again

T25 = between the two

BUT the comressor wheels vary dependant on what car they are from and this will affect how it spools, max boost etc etc
