Has anyone got a how-to guide for fitting one of these?

What happens with the old water pump, does that get left but blanked off, do you remove it and put some kind of blanking plate in place, or does this type of leecy pump fit in the place of the old mechanical one?

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

This is what I did when I had a leccy pump.
On the first one I was using a front mounted rad, so everything was removed and an insert pressed in to block the hole. On the second one I was using the side rad & still wanted to retain the fan, so just the impellar was machined off.

Thing is with retaining the waterpump for the fan and as an idler pulley for the alt. belt, you will still experience w/pump seal failure. Which means you still have to periodically replace the shittin thing even though you have electrical goodness moving your coolant!
