does anyone make roll cages for estates? I've seen some at the shows but they all tend to be custom made.

I wanted one in 1998, but no-one I found was doing them so safety devices custom made me one.

They hoped to use a saloon rear cage and make new font legs, but it worked out the other way round.

It was expensive, but now they have a pattern they're probably cheaper.

Edit to add - it's a 6 point bolt in job with doorbars and a removable diagonal

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I know that rollcentre do one for vans so maybe that would be a good starting point?

Just found this thread... It's quite old, so was wondering if anyone has ever had a cage fitted to an estate/van since it was posted?

Just googled rollcentre and they are actually quite close to me... I'll give me a shout tomo. Anyone used them?

IMO if you get a good installer, a custom made cage will probably fit better than an off the shelf item anyway

And you can get them to add any pieces you want with ease too.

Yeah cheers guys.. Spoke to them earlier, they do a normal mini cage but they can do add-ons.. I said I'll pop in for a chat and they'll explain it better..

But yes, it's possible!

Any cage is possible, it's just bits of metal.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
