Get an extended input shaft - depending on whose gearbox it is, it may come with different length input shafts anyway (for different fitments to different cars/models) - or if it's the type that connects to the first motion shaft with a splined sleeve, get an extended sleeve made up. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

Interesting ideas. If i had 22mm removed from the bellhousing i would then need a flange welding back onto it and keeping it square.

My mate does it all the time to his V8 engines to fit TVR bell housings on. Own the day

If i can find a machine shop to take the bellhousing down flat it may be an option.
