Hi guys!!

I'm on duhhhhh moment, and the search made on the net just confused me even more!

White core on the spark plugs could be related to lean mixture, wrong spark plug temp or timing.

My doubt is about timing, if it's too advanced or too retarded. I have the idea that is too advanced.

What is your opinion?

I'm in the run in period and I want to make @ least 500km's before a rolling road (maybe this is a wrong idea).

In the moment I'm having some dificulties to get it right, and in Portugal this is the first supercharged Mini engine.

I'm now only doing 3,5k and 4k rpm, and slow acceleration just to bed in all the components.

@ iddle I'm getting carbon fouling in the spark plugs and in B roads or open roads the spark plugs the insulator become bleach white.

I'm currently using the NGK BP7ES plugs sent by Stuart (Vmax).

Thanks for you help,
Jorge

I find the easiest way is to super glue the bolt to the end of one of my fingers.

You really need to get the fueling somewhere near correct.

Is it a carb/injection? supercharger or turbo?

I would go with the others, running lean on boost. What carb are you using and have you change the needle to cope with the supercharger?

it's a Vmax kit, with all the parts, including the parts to modify the hif44.

Maybe a dumb question...but why dont you have a wideband on it ?

If running in..you should be seeing minimal boost.
