So I've had troubles over the last few months with my handbrake being rubbish!

Can someone send me a picture of how the cables should be attached onto the calipers and the return spring as well, plus the hand brake guide.

Is it just after driving it you pull the handbrake on and its not good?

KAD recommend leaving it in gear as they arent too good, as it cools down the pressure on the disk reduces

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

No its generally, It seems If i do them one way when the guide holds the cable and the spring on the other side i can't get the right adjustment, If i spin the setup around then the handbrake cable doesn't go through the guide and misses by 10mm or so?

Is the handbrake cable suppose to be closest to the subframe or closest to the wheel?

That's not just KAD setups. MY A4 has rolled away twice... Happens more when the pads are worn. It stays in gear now.

Have a look at the last picture.....this is my problem, the cable doesnt actually lie in the bracket, to hold the spring on the cable back?

hmmmm, looks like some modding is needed?

Can you lock these up when adjusting them? If so then you know that side of it is fine.

yep, the cable won't sit in the bracket, all the bracket does is locat the spring in the kad kit that conects to the caliper.
