got my first mini sunday and am already looking for more power . and i think turbo is the way to go. just looking on e bay for complete engine at the moment and wondering is there anything to look out for when buying 1, or is it best to rebuild it first.

monkey boy, in answer to your question, well, think about it...

the 'youngest' metro turbo engine will be about 20 years old by now, so yes, it would bt 'best' to rebuild it.

...but, do a bit of research on here, youll find there is hardly any diference between the turbo engine and the usual 1275 A+, apart from a turbo bolted on.

tbh, if i were in your boots, id go down the mirage route (again do a search to find out more) saves cutting your bulkhead out etc
