Typicaly for me the turbo sits around for a couple of years, then in a frenzy of activity i pull it apart, snap half the bolts and dont mark it for balance!

no, just assesing it really, doesn't seem to bad and would have probably run ok. Wondering weather to just buy a cheap new one or fix this one up with a kit? |

Well i have swapped compressor wheels around on turbos in the past and havent had them balanced. I just dont think they last as long as they could do. If it was me i would bolt it back together and use it till it starts smoking and then worry about it! |

Thats what i was hoping to hear, this'll do till i get bored then. Really just want to get things up and running then sort later! If it lasts 1000 miles i'll be happy! Next time i'll mark the wheels but we lives and learns eh. |
