1967 mutant shell
bought this car a couple years back originally came from scotland, MWA? (minis with attitude) built it in 1998.

I since have rebuilt the motor and am in the process of slowly redoing the body and suspension.

Anyone got a line on replacement coil overs cause the spax units are SHOT.?

Engine: 1275 A series metro turbo,ported and polished big valve head with 1.5 roller rockers,turbo kent cam, central oil pickup and adjustable oil pressure valve, 1.75 inch su. Hi flow holley electric fuel pump, Aldon Dizzy, lucas sports coil, 16 row oil cooler, custom built 3 core radiator. Custin mini turbo exhaust consisting of some playmini parts etc.

Gearbox; 1275 metro turbo box with EN8 diff pin, 3.2:1 dif ratio.

Suspension; Seam-welded subframe in front, with solid alloy mounts and metro turbo strengthening kit, spax rfx competition coil-overs with adjustable ride height and dampening, Special tuning adjustable tie rod bars, modified lower mounting bracket, modified steel beam axle in rear (nearly independant) adjustable track and camber rear, Spax lowered coils in rear connected to modified radius arms to fit modified beam axles.

Brakes; KAD 4 pot alloy billet calipers with KAD grooved discs and stainless braided lines, superfin alloy drums in rear with 97' backing plates, KAD alloy handbrake quadrants.

Wheels; Japanese export 4 spoke spectrum 10 inch racing wheels, split(2 piece)7 inch wide, with yoko a008's.

Exterior; Mk1 look/mutant with an 84etc. Body painted in two-pack old english white with black roof, front wings strengthened, 97 doors with side impact bars, 97 sports pac arches.

Interior; Newton comercial black carpets, door and quarter panel set, corbeau gt reclining seats, alloy door pulls window cranks etc, battery box where the rear seat was,smiths cyclops speedo, boost and tachometer in custom gauge panel with custom fuel pump on off switch, jvc radio/tape with two JBL 6x9s in rear decklid, Safety Devices multipoint roll cage without diagonal but with door bars, rear side pockets removed, raised and flattened trunk floor rear arch damper location moved and strengthened.

The bad; the car was fully restored and built in 1998 featured in Mini World October 2000, the car has the typical bubbling around the windshiend and front wings, the floor is solid, one of the rockers has some rust,rot. Other than that its a FAST fun car.
