Are there any known problems that anyones experienced when fitting a non genuine rear subframe as apposed to a genuine one?
or any other options that may be of use? rear beam? etc..

Get penetrating oil on well in advance.
Get new rubbers and front trunnion pins at the same time.
You could even drill a 1/2" hole in the inner sill inside the rear companion bin above the bolts to get some penetrating oil in there

I seriously doubt it!

In the garage......again!!

last one i did, non genuine, when i dropped the car to the floor, one wheel when viewed from the rear looked like it was toeing out at the top, had to fit adjustable brackets to get it squared up right. Other than that, they are much the same, expect a little more 'crowbarring' to get the trunnions to line up proper

Ive fitted 2 non-genuine ones now, they weren't a perfect fit but TBH I can't imagine the genuine ones to be much better. lol

As said above, nothing a little bit of crowbar action doesn't fix.
