Does anyone have any opinions/ experience of which type is best? I currently use an ITG foam filter but have just aquired a new Green cotton/gauze type filter. From a performance point of view would one flow better than the other? Purely on looks the Green filter wins hands down:)

the Green small tapered one from AVONBAR it flows enough air with no restriction up to 240 bhp

my green one is the same size all the way up steve, bit different to your one... should be ok tho. got it from minispeed

i've got an ITG foam filter seems ok, it's good. as the green / k&N type fiters tend to brake up if some thing rubs against them, which isn't good, where as a foam one just squashs up with out problems.

Steve, where did you get your 240 bhp figure from?

I think Steve is getting the figures from his car n.g.l.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Oh right, just that Green filters state that particular filter, K260, is only good for 178 bhp.

the guy at the motorsport plac ei bought mine said it was ok for up to 300 brake. so i bought it.
