Hi guys
I have a full straight cut box with s/c drops + grey clutch(all new)
When I set off under load (up a hill) there is a screeching sound until the clutch peddle is released.

It only does this in first gear setting off....?

Been told:
1) Thrust bearing.........brand new!!
2) Drops taking up load...........?????

Help, I dont know enough....should I sleep easy or begin to worry?

Clutch bearing maybe ??

ive had something similar to this, was the wrong typ of release bearing fitted, on one type the inside turns, the other the outside turns. fir the wrong one and it will screech. i was never brave enough to drive mine the noise was just to bad, so maybe your is something different.....

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!
