Yeah shapers cut in more of a sawing motion. They are handy pieces of kit if spaces is limited, but very slow to use in comparison to a mill. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

A shaper is more for splines and keyways TBH.
