The rear bumpers on my car are knackered and I'm not going to bother replacing them as it means cutting up a pair of estate bumpers.

Can't decide yet if I should lose the front bumper as well. I'm thinking I should as it would look weird with just a front bumper.

Thoughts? Anyone got any pictures of bumperless minis?

I don't have them on mine. I tried a set on, but didn't like the way the back end looked.

Saying that, I'd keep them on your estate.

I've not had the guts to chop the 'lips' off yet as I have a tendency to change my mind quite often.

Ni pic's, but the look OK if you remove the mounting lip from the front panel.

My old Mini (ages ago) was without front and rear and that's what I'm doing again.

Leaving the lip (mounting flange) on without a bumper could technically get you nicked under the Construction and Uses Regulations if you are pulled by a zealous Cop. (sharp edge to slice pedestrian's legs off).....

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

I would remove the bumper lip. The car is stripped at the moment and I'm liking the uncluttered look at the rear.

I was aware of this, so to minimise the chances of the above happening, I've run a strip of sill trim along all the edges.

I hope this is enough to keep the pesky old bill at bay.
