The late MG ones where unleaded. The had slightly smaller valves than the leaded MG. should go straigt on.

No difference apart from MG/Cooper SPI heads flowed better than the standard ones.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

If not do it yourself :)

There are NO heads which have 35.6mm inlets and are unldeaded. That means, no MG Metros were unleaded.

If they are both unleaded, they are exactly the same OR one has been modified.

Evening Vegard

Late MG Metro's (late 1989 on) had 33mm inlet valves and WERE unleaded from the factory.

You are however correct in saying that there are NO FACTORY heads with 35.6mm inlets and are unleaded.

OK, I was under the impression that the MG Metro egnines were killed off by then.

Of all the A+ heads I've seen, the castings have been the same in the powerdelivery areas apart from the 35.6 inlet ones. Well, the castings are the same but machining is different.

The SPI head has the 33/29 valves, like the unleaded MG heads, the earlier MG heads as said had the larger 35.6mm inlet.
You'll also need to tap the SPI head for the temp sensor.
