The late MG ones where unleaded. The had slightly smaller valves than the leaded MG. should go straigt on. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

No difference apart from MG/Cooper SPI heads flowed better than the standard ones. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Correct. Just make sure its tapped for heater & temp sender.
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

There are NO heads which have 35.6mm inlets and are unldeaded. That means, no MG Metros were unleaded.

OK, I was under the impression that the MG Metro egnines were killed off by then.

The SPI head has the 33/29 valves, like the unleaded MG heads, the earlier MG heads as said had the larger 35.6mm inlet.
