Hi Guys

tell me your thoughts please

I have a kent turbo cam baught new in about 98 only doen about 5ooo miles, i decided to pull my motor out last week to fix a small oil leak for registration and while i was there i decided to breakout the dial indicator and check my cam

here goes from cyl 1 to cyl 4
315thou exh, 200 in, 230 in, 290 exh, 294 exh, 219 in, 253 in, 314 exh.
such a big difference between them all

i read on another post that the avonbar phasr 2 is a real good cam, does any one have specs on it at all?

179hp on 12psi 1293cc of pure A series
14.0et @101 mph

sounds about right for most reground cams...

What you get is often very different to what it says it will be on the box!

If you measure about 5 or 6 you can normally find one good one!

for most poeple... probably not.

But if you want a great engine and you go to extreems you might as well not make an assumption on a critical part!!!
