Has any body used this oil for there brakes and clutch? If so have you had any problems with it. Cheers.

I dont reccomend it.I tried very hard to get to like it in clutch and brake systems and, to be fair, its still in the clutch arrangement. It was impossible to get a "hard" brake pedal with it, and I bled £50 worth of fluid through the system, trying.Once I went back to Dot 5.1, most of the problem went away. Others may disagree, but I can only tell you what I found. |

yes on both counts in my road cars, seems fine in all honesty "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

Have a look at this for reasons not to use silicone fluid

Thanks for the reply it seems its not what automec makes it out to be. Whith that said does any one want to buy half a litre of automecs finest lol. |
