Working on a genuine MK1 Metro turbo yesterday and I noticed it a "T" stamp just above the water pump on the side of the block in the same style as the head is stamped "T" near the heater take off end.

mine has that also. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi
