Had some free time last night so got tore into solving the problems with the mini.

My mate suggested I use a better coil, so we nicked one of my old cavalier. Boy does it produce a bright spark!

We then mounted the ignition module to a better earth.

We then moved the engine earth to a better spot.

Each time the car got better, and then roarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, and away she went.

But she would only run with the choke fully on and was back firing all over the place. So adjusted the fuel regulator some more and now she is purring like a cat.

Got finished at 12am, but had to get her out for a spin, driving really well, and the konis have made some job of the suspension.

Heres hoping I did'nt wake my whole estate.

PC.
P.S a BIG thankyou to all who offered advice and help! *tongue*
