Hi all

I've been after a pair of these for ages but am not sure which of the two (Spring deluxe or layback) to get.

i have a pair on monacos but cant seem to find the seat angle of those. They are the right angle for my fat body but the layback has a 20 degree rack and am not sure if thats to much of an angle.

I just want one that is as close a match to my monacos really. Does anyone have any advice on which to go for?

Thanks again

Johnny

I've got a lightweight sprint deluxe, my only comment is that it can dig in under the arms - I'm 5 ft 9, so if you are talelr alls good, if shorter may be a problem!

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

Horndean - Near Portsmouth

I'd rather sit on the floor pan with no seat and slide about the crossmember than sit in them!

They look really uncomfortable!

Until you've sat in one they look terrible, but they're actually really comfy with support in all the right places.

Yeah agree with John on the fact they are a tad high under the arms.

Weight wise there not actually that much different than a decent composite seat

Yip - they are a lot more comfortable than they look and are much much stiffer than a composite seat of the same weight - I know which one I'd rather be in!

Can these be fitted to the cross beam or do they need to be fitted behind it? What mounts would be best? I'm guessing they wont fit to my cobra mounts i already have?

I've fitted the front of the seat to the rear of the cross member - if that makes sense, then made mounts to pick up off the inner sill and exh tunnel, its all custom stuff for these seats in a mini.
