Hi,

Looking at doing this mod in the future but have the possibility of getting a really cheap set.

The are from an R1, but what year do they need to be from??

Would 2004 - 2006 suit the job?

I think from 2002 onwards the R1 ran injection, although the throttle bodies do look very similar to carbs, so I'd guess 2004-6 is no good, They used carbs fro 98-2002 I believe, although they changed slightly in 2000
