I'm not to assed about getting the pipes. It's more of a case how the pipe breaks off and goes to the turbo. I've got a pipe but i'm not sure how to plum it in its got two round hoops on each end and i can't work out how the oil cooler hose goes into it? And i can't find anything about putting a bigger head on a standard block. It's got to be either a yes or no |

What do you mean by "Putting a bigger head on" ?. All 1275 engine heads are based on the same casting {12G940}, so you can modify the one you already have, with bigger valves, port work etc.

The best way to learn about the subject of putting a metro turbo engine in a mini is to do some research and read up, there are loads of previous threads in this forum that cover everything from water injection, to different turbos, to building an engine. As for your turbo feed pipe, it does not attach to the oil cooler outlets. On the metro it is connected to where your oil pressure light switch is on the front of the block below the oil cooler take off point. It uses a special banjo bolt that you will need to get hold of to use the std pipe. The by far easier way is to get hold of the aftermarket braided pipe kit that is easily available from numerous mini spares suppliers, e.g. Avonbar, Minispeed, MED etc., as already recommended by someone else in this thread.
