If youve done 500+ miles now, just nail it a bit and rolling road it

Paul

Well matt you was my first too mate. Jeff was chating to me yesterday. And the lad from miniworld said it was a pity i went to mini mag with the car and i just said you paid me. *happy**happy**happy*

Well i got up yesterday but had slept in and was late for the brooklands show, but as its just 20min away from me it wasn't too much of a drama. Well i drove the shit out of the car all the way there and when i got there i snapped the accelerator cable whilst reversing to park up, what luck. As it was early in the show Minispeed hadn't quite set up properly, so they were going to and from the shop with stuff and I managed to get one sent up.

I left the car as it was, all dirty and full of crap and went to see what was about, then i came back with my new cable. As I was fitting it later in the day the Miniworld bloke came over and said to me that my car has won mini world car of the show. So yesterday was one of them lucky days

Lol good answer mate. Mini world are always saying how people should have gone to them. But when you send them a car like Jimsters and they turn it down for being to tatty, i guess they have to try and get there cars some how!

Nice one, top job for winning.

i cut a load of metal out of the side rad mount to make changine fan belts easier, otherwise you have to go through everything all over again everytime you service it :(

I wish i had done that now

Well today i have been busy again. The seat is in and I have been making the megajolt loom's and fitting them. I got my new denso working that I got off matty and got my new sexy thermostat in. Also on the list of stuff to fit was the weber tps ,edis, make a coil bracket , sort the twin throttle cables out and get the loom in. Now I will let the pics do the chating.

The third pic makes it look like the trigger wheel is on the alternator ha.

Awesome thermostat housing. Where did you get it?

you might want to vibration mount the MJ? I did on mine as advised by the rolling road operator. I don't know if it makes any difference, but I haven't had any issues..

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

if the mj has a socketed cpu like megasquirt then vibration mount is a must.. my cpu fell out the socket , ended up just cabletieing it in *surprised*
