hi guys got a problem with the fuel gauge. its a tim gauge ive wired it up but instead of going up to full it goes backwards way past the empty any ideas would be appreciated thanks

tried that one still doesnt work right, do i need a new sender do you think? for the tim gauge

thinking outside the box, can you try another gauge? is the faceplate of the gauge put on in the correct place?

the gauge is brand new, and ive tried the original gauge thats with the speedo and temp and that dont work at all but thats down to not having the voltage stabiliser on it, maybe i should try wiring up the stabiliser?

I put in a new Smiths gauge that ended up needing a new sender. It's a bit of a pain to drag out the tank and drill holes in it, but seemed to be my only option.

Did the sender unit come with the gauge ?

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Hmm, no. Unfortunately not - I think it cast me another £20 or so from Demon Tweeks. Then involved removing the petrol tank and drilling a big hole in the top! Not as scary as it sounds actually.

ummm sounds a bit to much for me to do, i dont think i am comfortable messing around with the fuel tank might have to revert back to the original fuel gauge for now. thanks for your help guys
